Allergy Control

Allergies negatively impact many of us and our children, with symptoms ranging from runny noses, itchy eyes and throat to skin rashes. Allergies aggravate the sense of smell, sight, tastes and touch causing irritation, extreme disability and sometimes fatality. They occur when the body's immune system overreacts to normally harmless substances. Allergies are widespread and affect most Americans at some point in their lives. In recent years, the numbers have been increasing, with as many as half of all those affected being children. Allergic reactions are caused by substances in the environment known as allergens. Fortunately, many of the most common allergens can be removed by professional carpet cleaning.

Unfortunately, many Industrial and household chemicals, such as varieties used in professional carpet cleaning are also major allergens contributing to very poor indoor air quality and chemical sensitivity. Again, this is why we have chosen to offer household and environmentally friendly products. While all of these things can’t realistically be eliminated, many of them can be significantly reduced though the selection of very effective alternative products and better cleaning methods.
