Traditional Carpet Cleaning

It can be difficult to maintain your carpets and keep them clean of inevitable dirt and stains. 1st Choice provides a safe process that removes even deep down dirt and stubborn stains while remaining completely safe for building occupants, children, babies and pets who spend much of their time in direct contact with the carpet. Most people clean their carpet for the sake of improving the appearance of the carpet. We define clean not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of hygiene, safety and benefits to indoor air quality.

Our Cleaning Process 
Prior to our arrival we ask that you remove any heavy furniture, breakable lamps, plants and valuables from the area that is to be cleaned.  Our technicians will pre-vacuum the area and move any furniture as agreed to in our estimate.  We then spot and pre-spray with our natural solution, focusing on walkways, heavy traffic areas, and pet and food spots.   

Utilizing our hot water extraction method and our environmentally friendly cleaning solutions, we will thoroughly clean all surfaces by injecting deep into the carpet fibers, loosening and lifting dirt and soil.  Simultaneously, powerful suction will extract the deep down dirt, cleaning solution and up to 95% of the moisture.  This method will remove soapy residue, dust, mites, allergens and other potentially harmful pollutants from your carpet.  Although our HydraMaster gold standard equipment removes a high percentage of the water, air movers will be used when necessary to accelerate the drying process.  After cleaning, we also rake groom the cleaned area to promote faster drying and to further inspect our work.  It is recommended that clients leave all protective blocks under furniture legs in place and to stay off of newly cleaned carpet as much as possible until the carpet is completely dry.  As an additional service and for a nominal fee, clients will have an opportunity to have their carpet treated with a stain guard protector to help minimize staining and provide easier clean up between deep cleanings.
